	Triumph GT6 Classic Car Hire - £70 Per Day
	"Born in Le Mans" was how the GT6 was introduced at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1966. Not strictly true. Fibreglass moulds of the roof were taken for the Spitfires raced in 1964 & 1965. The model improved greatly from the Mark 1 to the Mark 3 and this example is considered by many to be the best with the Rotoflex rear suspension. The car's performance would allow it to comfortably outperform its main rival the MGB GT. Unfortunately the two cars were competing for a similar market and being more expensive and struggling in the USA with a fuel crisis production ceased in November 1973. The handling is sharp and the power delivery is smooth and strong thanks to the 2 litre straight 6 engine. The car has been described by the motoring press as a poor man's Aston Martin. It is small and great fun to drive but perhaps not the easiest to enter and exit gracefully. It is not as practical as the MGB but I think it is more fun and quite rare nowadays.
